The largest student beach volleyball event in the country returned this week as over 200 students competed in the 2022 BUCS Beach Volleyball Championship.
Introduced as a BUCS sport in 2017, the fifth edition of the annual BUCS Beach Volleyball Championships took place on the golden sands of Sandbanks Beach.
This year’s BUCS Beach Volleyball Championships took place at Sandbanks Beach in Dorset, England. Considered one of the best beaches in Britain, Sandbanks has hosted the event since its inception in 2017 and provides a fantastic setting for players to compete.
Teams from 30 different U.K. universities competed across three levels of competition; Championship, Trophy, and Shield, which were all contested over two days on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th June.
