Did you know there are still places available for U.K. university courses throughout the country?
Did you know there are still places available for U.K. university courses throughout the country?
With A Level results being announced today in the UK, many students may already have their grades depending on which country they have studied in. Results day is an important day for every student, with results determining what university or college course you have qualified for.
If you have missed your conditions of your offer or had a last-minute change of heart about the university/course you want to study, you can apply using Clearing!
Clearing opened on the 5th of July 2022, meaning applications are still open!
What is Clearing?
Clearing matches applicants to university places that are yet to be filled.
It allows universities and colleges in the U.K. to fill any places they still have available on their courses and gives students the opportunity to find one of the thousands of unallocated places that are still available.
Alongside Clearing is Clearing Plus, a service designed to help students find the perfect course. Clearing Plus is only available to students who have been unsuccessful with an application or are applying for the first time for a place in Clearing.
How To Apply Using Clearing
Studying in a different country is an exciting opportunity that provides you with great cultural experiences and makes you an asset to any workplace once you have graduated. However, you must be aware that you may have to apply for a student visa before coming over to the U.K. so applying as early as possible could save time.
International and EU students can apply through Clearing in the same way as UK-based students.
To apply via clearing you must provide your exam or course results and the courses you are interested in at a U.K. university. We will then find courses available at universities across the U.K.
You can apply for Clearing or Clearing Plus if:
- You are applying for an undergraduate degree
- You have received all your grades
- You applied through UCAS before 30 June and did not receive an offer from your desired university or your grades mean that you are looking to explore different options
- You did not apply through UCAS before the 30 June deadline and want to make a late application to a course.
Clearing Applications Are Still Open!
