With 128 sporting events and 25,800 fixtures having taken place during the 2022-23 BUCS season, it is safe to say that competitive university sport in the UK has never been stronger.
As the year unfolded, over 5,000 teams graced fields, courts, and arenas nationwide, all competing for gold medals in BUCS league and cup competitions.
The UK university sports community continued to grow as another three sports were added to the ever-expanding BUCS programme. Canoe Sprint, Touch Rugby and Powerlifting competitions provided students with even more avenues to explore their talents and passions.
