As the second term of the current academic year gets underway, the deadline for students seeking to start their higher education in September 2023 is fast approaching.

When is the UCAS deadline for September 2023 entry?

Applications for all 2023 entry UCAS Undergraduate courses, except those with a 15 October deadline, should arrive at UCAS by 18:00 (UK time) on 25 January 2023.

This is the final date by which students must submit their applications through the UCAS website in order to be considered for admission to a university or college in the United Kingdom. Whilst some institutions will continue to accept later applications from international students, it’s important not to wait too long!

Universities and colleges do not have to consider applications received after the deadline, although they can if they have spaces available once the on-time applications have been considered.
