Year round opportunities to compete individually and as part of a team
Equestrian teams will compete locally against surrounding universities with the aim to qualify for regional competitions. From there, competitors at the regional events will have the opportunity to qualify for the BUCS Nationals and a chance to compete against the very best riders from across the country.
U.K. universities can enter multiple teams into the competition events each year. The first team of each university will have the opportunity to compete in the National Equestrian Championship, whereas the second, third and fourth teams will have the opportunity to compete in the National Equestrian Trophy. In both events, riders will compete in both dressage and show jumping where their combined scores will make up the final result.
